University of Pittsburgh Research Experience for Undergraduates in Chemistry
Department of Chemistry
This program is for undergraduates seriously contemplating research careers in the chemical sciences. The principal component of this program is a state-of-the-art research project in cooperation with the on-going research efforts within the Department.  Participants will interact with faculty, post-docs, and graduate students and will present their completed work to the local research community in a Symposium. Undergraduate researchers, housed together on campus, will participate in weekly workshops by faculty and in social activities.

This program is principally supported by an award to the University of Pittsburgh from the National Science Foundation and further supported by the Department of Chemistry and the Office of Experiential Learning at the University of Pittsburgh.

 

Students admitted to this selective
program will receive:

A stipend of $4,000
Free Housing
$200 Food Allowance
