Center for Molecular and Materials Simulations

The Center for Molecular and Materials Simulations (CMMS) is a collaboration between Chemistry Department Faculty, Chemical Engineering Department Faculty and IBM. Research within CMMS focuses upon the theoretical treatment of molecules with interesting properties and materials utilised in modern technology, especially the computer industry.





Combinatorial Chemistry Center

The Combinatorial Chemistry Center is a collaboration between Chemistry Department Faculty, the University of Pittsburgh Medical School and the Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. The goal of the Combinatorial Chemistry Center is to become the leading center of expertise and advanced education in combinatorial chemistry and renew methods in chemical discovery.

The chemistry department actively collaborates on research projects with other departments at the university.
