THE DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH announces the availability of a Mellon Chair professorship effective September 2007, pending budgetary approval. Scientists with research interests in modern nanoscience and experimental physical chemistry are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates should provide a curriculum vitae, a statement of research plans, a statement of teaching interests, and names of at least three references. THE DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH seeks to fill up to three faculty positions in the area of Nanoscience, effective September 2007, pending budgetary approval. Applicants with interest in modern nanoscience and backgrounds in the traditional areas of experimental and/or synthetic chemistry as well as in interdisciplinary areas that bridge chemistry and biology, physics, engineering, and/or materials science are encouraged to apply. Appointments at all ranks are anticipated.
