NMR Spectroscopy

The NMR Facility has five high field instruments dedicated solely to research. These include 300 MHz spectrometers and one 500 MHz spectrometer, in addition to a new 600 MHz spectrometer with LC-NMR and MAS capabilities purchased in 2000. The facility is open 24 hours a day, and students are trained to run their own experiments.

Dr. Macduff Okuom, who is a post-doctoral fellow and is serving in the capacity as Assistant Director of the NMR Facility reporting to the Director Dr. Damodaran Krishnan.

 

Dr. Damodaran Krishnan joined us on October 1, 2005 to manage the NMR Facility. Previously, Damodaran was the NMR Facility Manager at Miami University in Oxford Ohio.
