The new departmental AFM has arrived! As this is an expensive and delicate piece of equipment, training is necessary before using it. Training will follow the pattern of getting a driver’s license. With this in mind, the manual will be made available ahead of time, and a brief quiz on the relevant sections will be given to determine if “behind the wheels” training is appropriate. This quiz is not intended to be a big hurdle but to ensure the longevity of the equipment.
